Stories of healing

Do you long for freedom? Do you yearn deep in your heart to know Jesus on a deep, intimate level? Do you constantly fail and relapse into old habits and sin-sick routines? Do you know in your head that He loves you, but can’t see it with your heart? Would it help to have someone who’s been where you are to take your hand and walk you to where you long to be?

Melissa is such a one. I’ve known her for over 6 years. When God brought our paths to cross, I was so encouraged to meet someone who had failed in all the ways I had and who still stumbled at times in one way or another, but she stood in faith and received from Him the grace I couldn’t comprehend. She pointed me back to Him again and again and never shamed me for my weakness.

She was a sister and friend to me like few others have been. She pointed me back to Jesus in every conversation. She fostered within me the courage I needed to approach Him again and helped set the resolve within my heart to follow Him despite myself. She is called to this; to bring those of us who are hopelessly lost to come to the Hope that is Him.

Melissa is a pure vessel whom the Lord uses to speak healing, truth, and life into the hearts of others. She is sensitive to their needs and has a strong gift of discernment. There have been many times that she has helped me heal through uncertainty and heartbreak, helping me to put things into proper perspective, which helped me journey to wholeness.

Even as she pours into others, many times I’ve seen her surrender her heart to the Lord for healing as well. Her words are seasoned with grace and her honesty brings restoration.

Melissa has an incredible multi-faceted gift of healing, prophecy, and discernment that has been carefully cultivated over the last couple decades. I have seen her walk with the Lord in fullness of spirit and devotion, never once taking her foot off the gas! Because of this, Melissa has been used mightily in many people’s lives to bring forth powerful, lasting freedom, clarity, and healing.

I have two particular accounts of her helping me I’d love to share. Two years ago I had partial hearing loss in one ear. As Melissa prayed with me from across the country over the phone, my ear opened up miraculously right then and there! I actually had to turn my phone volume down for the first time in ages because I could hear so well. No longer did my family have to practically yell for me to hear them, or have our family movies turned up to maddening levels for everyone else.

Just this month I was hospitalized twice with what seemed like heart attacks and palpitations. Melissa brought an accurate word through discernment, with scripture, and sent healing resources of songs and messages I listened to — and I was healed! While I was in the hospital bed she brought immediate relief and I saw the turnaround. Through the next couple days, as I stood on the word she gave me, I became fully healed and whole! Miraculously. Praise God for her incredible faith, and her accuracy to sense in the spirit. My life literally depended on it. She is my go-to intercessor.

Melissa is a dear friend of mine who’s greatly blessed my life and others with her prophetic gifts. It was a delight to be with her on a prophecy team for several years. Whether it was a word of encouragement, counsel, or prophetic words, she ministered spot on. She has a very strong prophetic gift as well as lots of grace and mercy!

Melissa is an extremely wonderful young lady who follows her heart after the Lord with endurance. I know that I was interviewing for a tough position. I flew to Pennsylvania for an interview for this job. I didn’t know if I should take it or not, or what the outcome might be. Melissa told me that things would go well for me — that they would offer me a different kind of position. And it happened.

I was so surprised. After careful discernment, I decided not to accept the job, but it was a miracle that I was even offered this brand new position that they were going to make for me. You have to remember that I was 60 years old and had no college degree, but my experience in the software field had given me a window of opportunity.

Melissa follows Jesus with every ounce of energy she has — you can see it in her. I absolutely would recommend anyone to take the time to spend with her.
